Hi, I’m Melissa!

I’m a Melbourne-based writer, editor and poet.

As a writer, I’m most inspired by Biblical themes and natural imagery. I also love to write about third-culture and other cross-cultural experiences.

I hope to have a novel published one day. My work-in-progress is high fantasy for young adults, featuring a mysterious magical phenomenon and a knight on a quest to discover its cause.

In the meantime, I’m committed to helping other writers transform their work into its best possible form for publication.

For the past two years, I’ve been upskilling through RMIT’s Professional Writing and Editing program.

During my final year, I’m continuing in my role as a copyeditor for RMIT’s student-run magazine, Visible Ink.
